Aftermath of a freaking great gig? Shagged, Hungry, and stupidly Not Sleepy!
The NOFX gig was great! But the venue was abit tight. Seriously packed. Those in the middle could barely breathe. Plus all the moshing..yeahh..
Opening acts were fromPlain Sunset and King Lychee. They were equally great.. The moshpit was the most 'kecoh-rable' during King Lychee's slot. Cuz the band was a hardcore band. And they encouraged everyone to mosh. The vocals was this really cool lady. Okay first look, many people didnt noe she's a she. Haha! She had this Mohawk hairdo. With the scrapped sides and everything. And she gore like a freaking guy laaa! Coolness!
For $60, I think it was ALL worth it. Yeaps!
I had a really great spot. Which i didnt leave not for a single sec. wakaka! Cuz i was right in front. At the railings on the right. Therefore i wasnt squashed/trampled to death while they moshed. Yes i do get the constant pushing. Cuz everyone wanted to get to the front. Who doesnt right? Haha! But i shoved them over, jumped when i can. Tried my best to push people away from me. Some even bodysurfed and stuff. Even the Plain Sunset guitarist bodysurfed right on top of me. Seriously happening uhh..
Had Zean beside me the whole way from King Lychee til NOFX. Cuz after Plain Sunset, Din, Zy and Khai went to the back. I cant bear to leave my spot. Desperate sia! HAHA! Luckily Zean was at the corner. Called her over to stand next to me.
I must be one of the luckiest person in the gig.
Cuz I've got the FIRST guitar pick. From Eric Melvin!!! Yes2..uhuh2... He is THE guitarist of NOFX. Since the band first formed till now. And he handed the pick to the crowd at the 1st/2nd song. Which the funny thing is, everyone was too excited on having to hold his arm. And there it was.. the guitar pick he's trying to give out. I was lucky to spot it and get it first. Yes..nyeahha.......Cool or WHAT?! HAHA!
He even offeredme the 2nd guitar pick. It's like he LITERALLY held out his arm. Pointing towards me yes. (No exaggeration i'm sorry.haha!) With the second pick. But this time my brain functioned a lil too slow. And Zean took the pick before i could. SHIT! haha! Nahhh but its ok.. Cuz i've already got one. Shouldnt be too greedy right?
But still...i've got it from him! He didnt throw it for all to catch. He really offered the pick to the crowd first. And to me second.
Here's the coincidental part. Before they came i asked Zean, "Eh diorng jual ape uh kt booth tu? Ade NOFX nye pick tk? Aku nk sehh" Translation: "What r they selling at the booth? Is thr a NOFX pick? Cuz i want it" HAHAHA! COINCIDENTAL OR WHATTTT????!!!
And another thing is, Recently on my bday i got many guitar picks right? Cuz i wanna haf alot of picks. And now i've got one more for my collection! Cooool huhhhh... HAHA!
Unfortunately i couldnt upload the pics i've got yet. But will do it tmw asap. It wasnt tat many thou. And not too clear. Thou the cam had anti-shake thingy in it, it couldnt withstand the pushing and moving during the gig. And the cam's battery was low. Really shitty thou. Cuz i wanted to take pics with the band but it was flat even before the last song. So yeah abit wasted there... But who cares?? The experience is great enough to make my mind be my personal cam. wakaka!
So yeahh.. Damn shagged laa.. Gonna rest on my bed.. Hopefully get to slp. And yes again.. The gig was GREAT!
Ohh yeahh..Gyant and Hoods got to mosh laa sial! HAHA! I lost them from the start. After the gig they told me they got to mosh. Sooo everyone's satisfied!
